Cisco unveils 322 Terabit router
Internet hardware company Cisco Systems has unveiled a router that is potentially capable of transferring data at up to 322 Terabits per second (Tbps), or around 32 times faster than a regular 100Mbps home computer network. Dubbed Carrier Routing System 3, the system is 12 times faster than its closest competitor which is Juniper Networks TX Matrix Plus which has a maximum throughput of of 25 Tbps.
