Well how's this for a turn of events
The ANC teaches people to toyi toyi and then fails to deliver on promises of houses and other stuff, and now self same residents are threatening to derail the fifa soccer world cup because they have not received what they were promised......... ouch! "With only 93 days to go before the start of the 2010 World Cup, residents of Mamelodi-East near Pretoria during violent protests on Tuesday threatened to disrupt the tournament."
![]() I know soccer has its fair share of hooligans and the like so these people probably won't even have to bother protesting

But they kinda have a valid point. Why have the promises made to them not materialized yet?
But it would be silly to ambush the event to try and get some houses. They should know better than to expect something from government. I pity them. |
